Mergerstat has announced its 2006 YTD rankings for U.S. announced mergers and acquisitions by number of deals.  Morrison & Foerster ranked #7 on the list* with 12 deals, highlights included:

• Representation of ACON Laboratories in acquisition by Inverness Medical Innovations;
• Representation of Terumo Corp. in its acquisition of MicroVention; and
• Representation of SI International in its acquisition of Zen Technology, Inc.
