Eighty-four attorneys from Morrison & Foerster have made the 2007 Best Lawyers in America directory -- includes 31 attorneys named to the list for the first time. Best Lawyers in America listings represent 57 specialties in all 50 states and Washington, DC, and is compiled through an exhaustive peer-review survey, developed and refined for nearly 25 years, in which thousands of the top lawyers in the U.S. confidentially evaluate their professional peers. Lawyers are not allowed to pay a fee to be listed.
Best Lawyers publishes an advertisement-free book each year to honor all those chosen – something that no other survey does. The current 13th edition of Best Lawyers (2007) is based on 1.8 million confidential evaluations by only the top attorneys in the country. Best Lawyers also conducted thousands of extensive telephone interviews with leading attorneys throughout its balloting process.
The names of new listees will appear immediately in the online edition of Best Lawyers in America listings at www.BestLawyers.com and will be included when the 2007 edition of Best Lawyers is published this late fall.
