Penelope Preovolos has served as lead counsel in a number of major consumer class action and antitrust cases spanning more than a quarter century. She has extensive experience in defending and counseling clients in antitrust, product liability, and consumer class action matters. Her clients span a range of industries, with an emphasis on consumer electronics and technology companies. Ms. Preovolos was Co-Chair of the firm's Antitrust Practice for 14 years, in addition to serving as Secretary and Chair of the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Section of the State Bar of California. She is a frequent speaker on antitrust, competition, and class action issues.
Ms. Preovolos graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, as a Phi Beta Kappa, and was honored as an outstanding graduate with the English Departmental Citation and the University Medal. In addition, she was Executive Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.
