Natalie Naugle's practice centers around consumer class action with experience in financial services litigation. She has particular strength in advising clients on issues concerning false advertising, product defects, and breach of warranty or contract. Her clients are in the electronics and communications industries, as well as the insurance and financial services industries.

She has drafted motions in federal and state court at both the trial and appellate levels and has also taken numerous depositions. She also has extensive trial experience. Most recently in January 2013, Ms. Naugle won a complete defense victory after an eight-week jury trial in a case that went to verdict seeking more than $250 million in compensatory damages plus punitive damages on behalf of 128,000 potential class members. This case was named one of the Top Defense Verdicts in 2013 by the Daily Journal.

Ms. Naugle writes for the firm’s Private Surgeon General Class Action Defender blog (www.privatesurgeongeneral.com), which provides robust case information and industry analysis of false advertising and false labeling class action cases.

Ms. Naugle has taken on numerous pro bono matters including assisting Veterans for Common Sense in a Constitutional challenge to the Veterans Administration's disability compensation and medical care programs to ensure our nation's veterans receive much-needed care and compensation. She is also assisting another client in an action alleging Fourth Amendment violations by a local police department.

Ms. Naugle was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers 2013 and 2014.

Natalie graduated from UC Berkeley with highest honors and received her J.D. cum laude from UC Hastings College of the Law. While at Hastings, Ms. Naugle sat on the Hastings Moot Court Student Competition Committee and participated in several moot court competitions, including coaching the National Moot Court Competition's championship team. During her third year, Ms. Naugle externed for district court Judge Jeffrey White in the Northern District of California.

Successfully defended, through trial, a multi-million dollar false-advertising class action against a roof-tile manufacturer. Obtained judgment in client’s favor.
Credit Protection Class Action
Successfully compelled arbitration in a putative class action challenging the marketing and sale of bank’s “credit protection” products.
Weight-Loss Supplement Litigation
Defended manufacturer of weight-loss supplements, along with their ingredient suppliers and retailers, in multi-district litigation (MDL) and various state courts across the country against personal injury and class action claims.
Food Misbranding Class Actions
Currently defending several food manufacturers against putative class actions asserting various food misbranding claims.
