Leah Ramos has a broad-based litigation practice with an emphasis on employment law, defending employers in federal and state courts, arbitrations, mediations, and before fair employment practices and regulatory agencies. Ms. Ramos has experience counseling clients regarding a number of employment issues, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, bullying, and employment policies and procedures, and provides training seminars on these and related topics.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Ramos served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Denny Chin of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York. Before entering law school, Ms. Ramos worked in finance and accounting.
Ms. Ramos earned her J.D. from Fordham Law School, where she was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and captain of the National Moot Court Competition team. She received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
