Rebekah Kaufman is co-chair of the firm’s global Litigation Department and former chair of the Consumer Class Actions practice group. She has successfully defended clients in disputes involving various state unfair competition, false advertising, wiretapping, privacy and consumer fraud laws in federal and state courts throughout the United States. Ms. Kaufman is recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV-rated attorney, the highest such rating available to any individual lawyer.
Ms. Kaufman is the founder of the firm’s Private Surgeon General Class Action Defender blog (www.privatesurgeongeneral.com), which provides robust case information and industry analysis of false advertising and false labeling class action cases. She is also an editor and contributing author to the firm’s award-winning quarterly financial services newsletter on the topic of consumer arbitration, and a frequent author of legal updates concerning consumer litigation.
