Now in its fourth year, this course is designed for students, post-docs, and industry members with life sciences backgrounds interested in learning more about intellectual property (IP) law. MoFo’s Patent Law Course is a combination of lectures and interactive workshops, introducing you to IP law with an emphasis on key life sciences patent issues, technology developments, patent licensing, and company formation. Each session will teach important elements of life sciences law through discussions of court cases and practical examples. You will be introduced to the teaching style followed by U.S. law schools and this course is designed to familiarize you with life in a patent law firm.
Registration is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first served basis. Attendees will be required to attend at least 80% of the course and the first session is mandatory to set the foundation for our program. Attendees who participate in at least four sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion.
