Morrison & Foerster has been recognized by CEE Legal Matters for its role advising EuroHold Bulgaria AD (EuroHold Bulgaria) on the €355 million acquisition of the Bulgarian power distribution/renewable energy business of Czech utility company ČEZ and the €360 million senior secured and €110 million holdco PIK financing for the acquisition and the two mandatory tender offers for minority interests in subsidiaries triggered by the acquisition. The deal has been shortlisted as a 2021 Deal of the Year–Bulgaria at the CEELM Deals of the Year Awards.
