Georgia Elections Director Blake Evans pushed back on claims that hand-marked paper ballots would be more reliable than the current voting systems, and addressed arguments outlined in a Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency advisory that urged jurisdictions with the relevant voting systems to mitigate potential risks. David said Evans should not be allowed to speak on the subject because the state failed to answer questions during discovery about what, if any, measures were taken to address the advisory. David also pointed out that, throughout the trial, witnesses who worked at the Georgia Secretary of State's Office at the time the advisory was published said they hadn't read it or the 96-page report that preceded it until after it was brought to their attention in litigation.
