Fujitsu Limited

We are representing Fujitsu Limited in its formation (together with Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.) of Spansion LLC, a $3 billion company that combined Fujitsu's and AMD's world-wide flash memory businesses, and in connection with Spansion's initial public offering. Spansion is the largest company exclusively focused on Flash memory solutions.

Intel Capital

We represented Intel Capital in its $150 million investment in Elpida, a joint venture between Hitachi and NEC (the world's fifth largest DRAM chip manufacturer).

JDS Uniphase Corporation

We represented JDS Uniphase Corporation in its acquisitions of SDL, Inc. for $41 billion, E-Tek Dynamics for $18.8 billion, and Optical Coating Laboratories for $3 billion.

Toshiba Corporation

We represented Toshiba Corporation in the restructuring of its flash memory manufacturing joint ventures with SanDisk, including the acquisition by Toshiba of equipment valued at approximately $1.8 billion from the joint ventures.
