Stacey Sprenkel is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office, and a member of the firm’s Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense Group. Her practice focuses on representing companies, audit committees, officers, and directors in securities class actions, SEC investigations and enforcement proceedings, DOJ investigations and derivative actions. Ms. Sprenkel has experience conducting corporate internal investigations both domestically and internationally, and has assisted clients with developing, reviewing and implementing anti-corruption policies and procedures. She also represents clients in complex commercial litigation involving civil RICO, antitrust and energy matters.
Ms. Sprenkel was a member of the trial team in the matter of VCS v. Peake, a class action brought on behalf of veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder against the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for failure to provide statutorily mandated benefits and healthcare to returning troops.
Ms. Sprenkel was named a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2009, 2010 and 2011. During law school, Ms. Sprenkel was the Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Journal of European Law, and served as a research assistant to Professor George Bermann.
