Susy Hassan is a litigation associate in Morrison & Foerster’s Palo Alto office. She is a labor and employment lawyer whose practice focuses on discrimination and harassment, social media, employee and customer raiding, privacy, and wage and hour law. In addition to litigating in the field, Ms. Hassan assists clients with personnel policies and employment agreements, and provides advice and counseling on a variety of non-litigation employment law matters.
Ms. Hassan received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. While attending law school, she was a member of the mock trial team and served as the managing editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal. She received her undergraduate education from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in psychology and completed an honors thesis related to juror decision-making.
