Bill Schuerman is an associate in Morrison & Foerster's Corporate Group, resident in the firm's Northern Virginia office. Mr. Schuerman's practice involves representing clients in general corporate matters, technology transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt financings. He also counsels clients on software licensing and development, outsourcing transactions, reseller and distribution agreements, and consulting and services agreements.
Mr. Schuerman is active in the firm's pro bono efforts. Over the past two years, Mr. Schuerman has counseled iCompassion.org, a Virginia 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that supports early screening, detection, and treatment of chronic kidney disease, on general corporate, technology transactions, and privacy matters. He has also advised other nonprofit clients on entity formation matters and the Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit application process.
Mr. Schuerman received his B.S. degree, cum laude, from Cornell University and his J.D. degree from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was a senior editor for the Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society.
