Zahra Hayat is a litigation associate in the Palo Alto office of Morrison & Foerster.
Zahra received her first law degree (B.A. in Jurisprudence) from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. While at Oxford, Zahra participated actively in moot court and represented the University in various mooting competitions. Zahra later received her LL.M. from Yale Law School.
Zahra received her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan.
Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Zahra was a Yale Law School Arthur Liman Fellow at the National Center for Youth Law in Oakland for two years. Her fellowship project focused on improving mental health access for California's foster children, mainly through policy advocacy.
Zahra is a member of the State Bar of California.
