The Privacy Commissioner’s Guidance outlines the privacy considerations that apply to the use of AI tools, sets out the legal requirements of the Privacy Act and the Information Privacy Principles, and suggests ways of complying with these requirements.

The New Zealand government issued its first official AI strategy along with guidance for businesses that outlines good practices and actions that can support firms’ successful adoption of AI.
