Adaptive Governance of Artificial Intelligence in Panama, Bill No. 588
The Bill would establish an adaptive governance framework for AI in Panama that seeks to protect fundamental rights while promoting innovation and competitiveness. It uses a risk- and evidence-based approach and contemplates safeguards, regulatory experimentation, including sandboxes and testing environments, and mechanisms for adapting AI governance as technology develops.
