Artificial Intelligence Law (2/2234) (Introduced June 24, 2024)

The proposed law would establish a legal framework covering the development and use of AI technologies. It would apply to providers, users, importers, suppliers, and distributors of AI systems, as well as individuals affected by these systems. The legislation lays out general principles and specific obligations such as conducting risk assessments during the development and use of AI systems, and registration and conformity assessments for high-risk systems.

Recommendations on Protection of Personal Data in the Artificial Intelligence Field (September 15, 2021)

General and specific recommendations for developers and decisionmakers including: conducting a privacy impact assessment in high-risk AI practices; anonymization for AI data processing; ensuring user rights to terminate processing; notifying users of processing methods; obtaining user consent; consulting supervisory authorities; allowing human intervention in the AI decision process; and enabling users to refute the recommendations of the AI.
