Morrison & Foerster Foundation Giving

The Morrison & Foerster Foundation’s contributions are made through a number of giving programs. We focus on organizations that either serve disadvantaged children or provide free legal services to low-income people. We do so by supporting direct service organizations and fellowship and scholarship programs that address these needs in the communities in which the firm has offices. We also contribute to charitable causes concerning health, food and shelter, and the arts; many of those gifts target local youth education and outreach programs, as well.

In 2017, we gave more than $1.1 million to legal aid organizations and supported disaster recovery efforts following a devastating season of hurricanes and wildfires. We also launched a philanthropic program in the firm’s office in Brussels and continued offering matching gift programs for Morrison & Foerster lawyers and staff members firmwide.
