Alexandra Avvocato is a member of Morrison Foerster’s Appellate and Supreme Court practice.
Alexandra’s practice focuses on appeals and critical motions in federal and state courts across the country. She has briefed appeals on a wide array of subjects, including commercial disputes, consumer class actions, and intellectual property.
Before joining Morrison Foerster, Alexandra served as a law clerk for Judge Michelle T. Friedland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and for Judge Ronnie Abrams of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Alexandra received her J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she served as an executive editor for the Harvard Law Review. Alexandra received her B.A. magna cum laude from Columbia University in English and Comparative Literature.
Alexandra is a member of the Federal Bar Council's Second Circuit Courts Committee. She is admitted to practice in New York.
