Amanda Studley is an associate in the Finance Group, based in the Boston office.

Amanda's practice focuses on representing banks and other financial institutions in financing transactions involving private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies. 

Amanda began her legal career at Morrison Foerster, where she served as both a law clerk and associate. Before rejoining the firm, she was division counsel for a global technology company, negotiating multimillion-dollar sales and vendor contracts in the automotive and industrial sectors. She also co-chaired the company’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group, advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Her early legal experience included internships with the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Office of the Public Defender, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Amanda earned her J.D. with high honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was an associate editor of the Connecticut Law Review. She holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in psychology and political science from the University of Rhode Island.
