Andrew Freiwald is a corporate associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison Foerster.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was a summer associate in Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco and Tokyo offices. He also served as an Honors Program Legal Intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Division of Enforcement.

Andrew earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he was an Above Line Editor for the UC Davis Business Law Journal. He holds a B.A. in Economics, International Relations, and Japanese from the University of California, Davis.

Prior to attending law school, Andrew worked at a leading global investment bank in Tokyo.

Andrew is fluent in Japanese.
