Anisha Pathak is an associate in the Transactions Department of Morrison Foerster’s Palo Alto office.
Anisha’s practice focuses on general corporate transactional matters including mergers & acquisitions, private fund formation, private equity investments, venture capital transactions, and general corporate counseling to companies across the different stages of their life cycles.
Before joining Morrison Foerster, Anisha served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Vice Chancellor Nathan A. Cook in the Delaware Court of Chancery, where she drafted bench rulings for motion to dismiss hearings regarding claims arising from various M&A transactions, conducted legal research on corporate governance issues, and wrote a legal article on aiding and abetting breaches of fiduciary duties by boards of directors of special purpose acquisition companies.
Anisha received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While in law school, she was an articles editor for the UC Davis Law Review. Anisha received her B.S. in mathematics/ economics with a minor in entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California.
