Aron advises U.S. and non-U.S. fund sponsors in connection with the formation and ongoing operation of, and transactions related to, private funds that pursue a broad range of investment strategies, including venture capital funds, private equity funds, credit funds, hedge funds, co-investment funds, real estate funds, secondary funds, infrastructure funds, funds-of-funds, and social impact funds, as well as other bespoke fund structures. His sponsor-side work encompasses both investor-facing documentation, and the upper-tier structuring of management entities.  He also regularly advises U.S. and non-U.S. institutional and high net worth investors in connection with their investments in private funds that pursue a broad range of investment strategies. His representation of both sponsors and asset allocators allows him to have a strong pulse on the market and fund terms.

As part of his practice, Aron works seamlessly with Morrison Foerster’s Tax and Regulatory counsel, as well as other complementary practice groups, to support and address client needs.

Aron also advises clients regarding the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the National Futures Association, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, state “blue sky” securities regulators, and similar regulatory, registration, and compliance matters applicable to investment advisers, commodity pool operators, and commodity trading advisors.

Aron earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
