Ayaka Chin is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Palo Alto office and a member of the firm’s Transactions Department.

Ayaka focuses her practice on general transactions.

Prior to working at Morrison Foerster, Ayaka held legal, cybersecurity, and operations roles in the United States and Japan, leading initiatives relating to business development, cyber-intelligence, and cross-border compliance.

Ayaka earned her J.D. cum laude from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she served as Director of Honor’s Moot Court External. Ayaka is a member of the Santa Clara Law Chapter of the Order of the Coif. She received her B.A. in political science and Japanese from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with departmental honors.

Ayaka is fluent in Japanese.
