Brandon Dailey is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group.

Before joining Morrison Foerster, Brandon gained experience as a patent agent at LKGlobal, where he prepared and prosecuted U.S. and foreign-originated utility and design patent applications in the arts of chemistry, biology, and chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Additionally, Brandon was involved in drafting and filing appeals to the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

After practicing as a patent agent, he worked as a summer associate at Morrison Foerster. During this time, he prepared legal memoranda, conducted legal research in intellectual property law, and contributed to a variety of pro bono projects.

Brandon earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he was awarded the Prosser Prize in Civil Procedure. During his time at Berkeley, he was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and was recognized in a global negotiation competition as the TNC 2022 Negotiation World Champion and Highest Skilled Negotiator.

He holds a B.S. summa cum laude in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan. During his undergraduate studies, he was honored as the Outstanding Asian Language Student of the Year and received the Department of Chemistry Alpha Chi Sigma Outstanding First-Year Student Award.
