Brittany Warren is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.
Brittany represents clients in complex commercial disputes and civil litigation matters. She has broad experience across various stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, expert coordination, and trial preparation. She is actively involved in high-profile copyright litigation for a leading artificial intelligence company, contributing across all phases of the case and addressing novel and emerging issues at the intersection of technology and intellectual property law.
Brittany has also advised clients on a variety of antitrust matters, including government and internal investigations, merger-related regulatory issues, and civil and criminal enforcement matters.
In addition to her commercial litigation practice, Brittany maintains an active pro bono practice. She partners with Rising for Justice to assist clients with sealing criminal records and removing barriers to employment. Brittany also assists with case assessment efforts with the Exoneration Project.
Brittany previously served as a student attorney with the Michigan Innocence Clinic. Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, she was a law clerk in the University of Michigan Office of the Vice President and General Counsel and a summer associate at the firm.
Brittany earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as a senior editor of the Michigan Law Review, a senior judge (legal writing teaching assistant), and a member of the Programming Committee for the Black Alumni Reunion. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in political science and criminal justice from Mercyhurst University.
