Casey Lincoln is a member of Morrison Foerster’s Appellate and Supreme Court Practice.

Casey’s practice focuses on appeals and critical motions in federal and state courts across the country. She has briefed appeals on a wide array of subjects, including intellectual property, antitrust, and consumer class actions.

Before joining Morrison Foerster, Casey clerked for the Hon. Lucy H. Koh at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, after previously clerking for the Hon. Richard G. Taranto at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Casey earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she graduated with high pro bono distinction and honors in key IP and civil procedure courses. While at Stanford, she participated in Stanford’s Juelsgaard Intellectual Property and Innovation Clinic, where she contributed to patent policy advocacy. She also interned at the California Office of the Attorney General, working on antitrust, healthcare rights, and reproductive health issues.

Casey holds an M.P.H. in Health Care Management from Yale School of Public Health and a B.A. in Economics and History of Science, Medicine & Public Health from Yale University, graduating magna cum laude and spending four years on the varsity swimming team.
