Charis Safiya Pitter is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.
Before joining the firm, Charis was a summer associate at Morrison Foerster, where she conducted legal research and supported litigation matters. She also interned in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel and worked on appellate litigation matters as a Summer SEO Fellow at another notable global law firm.
While in law school, Charis was a subciter for the Harvard Civil Rights–Civil Liberties Law Review and a student in the Harvard Education Law Clinic, where she provided direct client representation. She also held leadership roles in several student organizations, including serving as president of the Caribbean Law Students Association.
Charis earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami.
