Daniel Mello is an experienced litigator who represents clients across various industries in copyright and related commercial and intellectual property disputes.

Daniel regularly handles complex, cross-border litigation and has appeared in numerous federal and state courts at both trial and appellate levels. He represents prominent Silicon Valley tech companies and entrepreneurs in copyright, trademark, unfair competition, false advertising, trade secret, licensing, and commercial disputes. He also helps clients from a diverse array of industries to protect and enforce their intellectual property rights.

Daniel has an active pro bono practice and previously represented a prisoner in a U.S. Supreme Court case, grassroots organizations in a class action lawsuit against a city police department, and a foundation in protecting its national monument copyrights. Daniel has prepared numerous amicus briefs before the U.S. Courts of Appeals.

Daniel holds a J.D. with honors from Boston University School of Law. He also earned an M.S. in Education with honors from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Boston University.
