Deana Gonzales is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group.

Prior to Morrison Foerster, Deana interned at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. She wrote and briefed memos to staff, drafted committee hearing questions, wrote biweekly newsletters on science policy events, and kept track of responsibilities of various government agencies. Deana was also a law clerk at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (Region III), where she performed environmental legal research and drafted settlement documents for the Water and Waste Enforcement Branch.

Deana earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. While attending Penn Law, Deana received the Wharton Certificate in Management and the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey Scholarship. She earned her B.S. in environment and sustainability from Cornell University, where she received the State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean’s Award.
