Edward Jackson is a litigator and counselor in the Government Contracts & Public Procurement practice. Mr. Jackson focuses on government procurement law and litigation for defense and health care contractors, with an emphasis on cost issues under the Federal Acquisition Regulation cost principles and the Cost Accounting Standards (“CAS”).

Mr. Jackson also handles a multitude of government contracts issues ranging from bid protests and terminations to compliance reviews, investigations, and civil false claims act (“qui tam”) actions. He has more than 25 years’ experience representing clients in litigation before the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, the United States Court of Federal Claims (COFC), various Federal District Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr. Jackson, a former certified public accountant, is a regular guest lecturer on Federal Acquisition Regulation cost principles, the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), and Cost Accounting Standards. He is a member of the Section of Public Contract Law of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Jackson is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
