Elizabeth McGuire is a corporate associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, where she represents both issuers and underwriters in securities offerings, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and private placements.
Elizabeth regularly advises non-listed REIT clients with respect to compliance with U.S. federal securities laws, state Blue Sky laws and FINRA rules. She also advises public companies on corporate governance and general securities law compliance.
Elizabeth earned her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, Elizabeth worked as a staff editor for The Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law and as an intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Enforcement.
Elizabeth holds a B.A. in psychology from Duke University.
