Ferdinand’s practice focuses on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, as well as other general corporate matters.

Ferdinand received his J.D. and P.C.LL. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2019 and 2020, respectively, where he was placed on the Dean’s List, named a Silver Scholar and received the Gallant Ho Prize in Law.

Ferdinand is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

• LSE-listed Tate & Lyle PLC, a leading global provider of food and beverage ingredients and solutions, in connection with its acquisition of Quantum Hi-Tech (Guangdong) Biological Co., Ltd, a leading probiotic dietary fiber business in China, from ChemPartner Pharmatech Co., Ltd.
• A private equity investment management firm in its EUR180 million leveraged buyout of a Hong Kong-based private industrial company and its subsidiaries.
• A multinational conglomerate holding company on its restructuring of a PRC asset valued at US$930 million.
