Fernanda is an associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group based in the firm’s New York Office. Her practice focuses on complex intellectual property issues with a focus in copyright litigation and trademark enforcement, providing strategic counsel and advocacy to global clients.

Fernanda assists clients at all stages of the litigation cycle, from pleadings to settlement agreements in connection with copyright, trademark, and patent disputes. Her practice sits at the intersection of emerging technologies and intellectual property rights. With broad experience beyond litigation, Fernanda also counsels clients on intermediary liability, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, fair use, right of publicity laws, and the development of generative AI tools and solutions. Prior to joining the firm, Fernanda advised clients across all industry sectors on mergers and acquisitions, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board disputes, and domestic and global data privacy issues.

Fernanda earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where she served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Journal of Law and Policy. During law school, Fernanda was a member of the Admiralty Moot Court team and an active member of the Immigration Law Clinic. She received the Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Excellence Award in Oral Advocacy and was awarded the Jack Garden Humanitarian Award for her community advocacy. She holds a B.F.A., magna cum laude, in Design and Visual Communication from the University of Texas at Austin.
