Gabriella Areas is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.
Gabriella earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she was awarded the Brian M. Sax Prize for Excellence in Clinical Advocacy.
During law school, Gabriella was a summer associate at the firm. In addition, she was the publications editor of the Berkeley La Raza Law Journal and a legal intern for the East Bay Community Law Center’s housing program, where she worked on more than 30 unlawful detainer cases and obtained more than $600,000 in relocation payments and rent waivers for tenants. She exclusively handled negotiations with opposing counsel, successfully drafted and argued multiple motions in court, and engaged in complex discovery and fact investigations.
She received her B.A. in sociology with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
