Genevieve Lewis is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Group.

Genevieve advises public and private companies on a broad range of corporate governance and regulatory matters, including securities compliance, derivatives regulations, and ongoing disclosure and reporting obligations.

Genevieve represents issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions, such as IPOs, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, private placements, SPACs, and acquisition financings. In addition, Genevieve’s experience also includes advising on ESG disclosures, entity wind-downs, fund structuring, and the preparation and filing of SEC reports for clients across the healthcare, real estate, and shipping sectors.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Genevieve was an associate at another multinational law firm in Washington, D.C.

Genevieve earned her J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and received her B.A. in English language and literature from Princeton University.
