Giselle Sardiñas is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Real Estate Group, where her practice focuses on complex commercial real estate finance transactions. She represents leading financial institutions, administrative agents, lenders, real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity funds, and other institutional clients in a broad range of financing transactions.

She has extensive experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, including secured and unsecured revolving and term loan facilities, subscription lines of credit, borrowing base facilities, and acquisition financings. She regularly advises clients on financings involving complex fund structures, REITs, and domestic and cross-border investment vehicles, including facilities with multiple borrowers, guarantors, and collateral arrangements across jurisdictions.

In addition to her finance practice, Giselle advises clients on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and other real estate-related transactions. Her experience spans a diverse range of asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, hospitality, office, and retail properties.

Giselle brings a commercially focused and solutions-oriented approach to her practice, working closely with clients and counterparties to navigate complex transaction structures, address legal and business considerations, and facilitate efficient closings. She is fluent in Spanish and has experience working on cross-border transactions involving U.S., European, and Latin American parties.

Giselle earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as a symposium editor of the University of Miami Law Review. She was elected to the Order of the Coif and received the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award for legal communication and research skills.
