Gretchen Dougherty is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Denver office and a member of the firm’s Executive Compensation + Benefits practice.

Gretchen advises public and private companies, as well as private equity sponsors, on compensation and benefits issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions. She also supports clients on matters including public company disclosure and reporting obligations.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Gretchen was an associate at another leading law firm. Her experience includes structuring and implementing equity compensation arrangements, drafting and negotiating employment, severance, and change-in-control agreements.

Gretchen earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her A.B. from Harvard College.
