Hanna Lauritzen is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Securities Litigation Group.
Hanna represents corporations and their officers and directors in securities class actions, derivative suits, and other complex commercial litigation. Her practice is complemented by her representation of organizations and executives in connection with internal investigations and government inquiries, as well as in litigation brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Hanna maintains an active pro bono practice focused on immigrant rights.
Hanna received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as editor-in-chief of A Jailhouse Lawyer’s Manual, published and distributed by the Columbia Human Rights Law Review. While in law school, Hanna worked on behalf of immigrants and the criminally accused at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, The Legal Aid Society, and the Center for Appellate Litigation. Hanna is fluent in Spanish.
