Hisatada Ohashi is a partner of Morrison Foerster Law Offices. His practice focuses on complex real estate transactions in Japan, including acquisitions and dispositions of office buildings, logistics facilities, residential assets, hotels, data centers, and R&D properties, as well as development projects, joint ventures, and real estate backed M&A, for a wide range of international investors.
Hisatada received his LL.B. from Kyoto University Faculty of Law, his J.D. from the University of Tokyo Law School, and completed his training at the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan (67th trainee). He earned his LL.M. from Stanford Law School, with a specialization in corporate governance and practice. He received another LL.M. from New York University School of Law, with a specialization in international taxation.
Hisatada is a bengoshi admitted to practice in Japan and a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association. He is also admitted to the New York bar to practice law in New York State.
