Holly Petersen is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office.
Holly’s practice focuses on intellectual property and general commercial litigation. She is experienced in all facets of trademark counseling and enforcement, and she regularly assists clients with their domestic and international trademark portfolio strategy, including the prosecution of trademark filings and the management of global watch notice programs on behalf of multinational corporations. Holly has also handled litigation involving trademark infringement, unfair competition, and false advertising claims, as well as proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Before joining Morrison Foerster, Holly was a summer associate at MoFo and served as a summer law clerk at the Alliance for Children’s Rights. During this time, she gained experience conducting client intake interviews and preparing legal documents.
Holly received her J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, where she participated in the Appellate Courts Immersion Clinic, and received her B.A. in mathematics from Willamette University.
