Hunter Ubersox is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group based in the firm’s Austin office.
Hunter’s practice focuses on patent litigation.
Before joining Morrison Foerster, Hunter served as an engine development engineer at General Motors, where he executed oil circuit and ventilation development testing for a production-intent internal combustion engine program, including devising custom testing methods to replicate issues, determine root-causes, and validate solutions. He wrote technical reports certifying engine oil circuit and crankcase ventilation performance and compliance with program technical specifications in preparation for mass production.
Hunter received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he was an associate editor for Texas Law Review. Hunter received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with highest honors from Georgia Institute of Technology.
