Isabel Mendiola is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Austin office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.

Isabel represents clients in complex civil litigation and high-stakes disputes.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Isabel was a summer associate and Wetmore fellow at the firm. She also served as a certified student attorney with Stanford’s Youth and Education Law Project, representing students in disputes under the IDEA and Section 504, and externed with the Lone Star Justice Alliance, where she drafted habeas corpus petitions, developed litigation theories, and supported post-conviction advocacy.

Isabel earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she received the Gerald Gunther Prize for Outstanding Performance in Criminal Law. She received her B.A. cum laude in psychology and American studies, with a focus in government, from Claremont McKenna College.

Isabel is proficient in Spanish.
