Ivy Fernandes is a Scientific Analyst at Morrison Foerster, where she focuses on patent drafting and prosecution in areas related to molecular and cellular biology, immunotherapies, and genetics.

Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Ivy conducted advanced research in cardiac development, using advanced imaging techniques, CRISPR-Cas9, and RNA sequencing to lead gene expression analysis projects. Ivy earned her B.S. in Bioengineering from Santa Clara University and her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, San Diego.
