Jenny Morris is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office.

Jenny’s practice focuses primarily on complex civil litigation and class action defense for consumer products companies. She represents corporate clients through pre-suit investigations, claim construction, discovery, motion practice, pretrial proceedings, depositions, trial, and post-trial proceedings across consolidated actions, arbitrations, multidistrict litigations, and individual litigation in state and federal courts. 

Jenny’s experience includes claims of product liability, false advertising, mass torts, consumer fraud, unfair competition, commercial and post-closing disputes, and other consumer statutes and regulations. Jenny also has extensive experience representing clients in antitrust litigations and assisting clients with obtaining clearance for proposed transactions from the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission.

Jenny’s practice spans a variety of industries within the consumer products space, including representing companies in the food and beverage, dietary supplement, personal care/cosmetics, construction, children’s toys, and pharmaceutical industries.

Jenny also has in-house counsel experience from her secondment, where she advised on various confidential consumer product litigation risks and privacy matters.

Jenny maintains an active and diverse pro bono practice, including advocacy work in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, where she represents Veterans appealing disability benefits decisions. She also volunteers with organizations to provide legal information to LGBTQ+ prisoners, to represent LGBTQ+ tenants in housing discrimination cases, and to represent clients at a variety of stages in Immigration Appeals. Jenny has received several awards for her commitment to pro bono, from organizations including Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, and The Veterans Consortium.
