Johann Choo is an associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group, based in the Washington, D.C. office.

Johann joins Morrison Forster after spending two summers with the firm as a patent litigation summer associate. Previously, he interned for Judge Jimmie V. Reyna of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and for Judge Ryan T. Holte of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Prior to law school, Johann was a primary examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He managed a rolling docket of more than 70 applications and successfully defended numerous rejections before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

Johann obtained his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and his B.S. from Johns Hopkins University.
