Jon McNeal is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s San Diego office. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including commercial disputes, product liability, and artificial intelligence.
Prior to Morrison Foerster, Jon interned for the Honorable Eli J. Richardson of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Jon frequently writes articles on constitutional and public law and has been published in the Vanderbilt Law Review. He has a forthcoming article in the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review.
Before entering private practice, Jon served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, deploying twice to Afghanistan, and later commanded a reconnaissance company in the 101st Airborne Division.
Jon received his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School, where he served as an articles editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. He holds an M.S. in organizational leadership from Columbus State University and a dual B.A. in history and psychology, cum laude, from Clemson University.
