Jonas Gnauert advises on complex proceedings before state courts and arbitration tribunals, regularly with cross-border implications. He advises and represents clients in litigation across all areas of commercial law, with a particular focus on contract and trade law issues.
As Jonas also advises on corporate and M&A matters, another focus of his practice is on corporate law disputes such as post-M&A proceedings or appraisal proceedings.
Jonas studied at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and spent a semester abroad in Istanbul. He completed his legal clerkship at the Appellate Court of Brandenburg with stages in Potsdam, Berlin and Hamburg. Jonas then completed his doctorate about liability for greenwashing on capital markets. Before joining the firm, he supported Morrison Foerster during his legal clerkship and worked as a research assistant at various major law firms.
