Jonathan Morris is an associate in Morrison Foerster’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group and is based in the San Francisco office.
Jonathan’s practice focuses on a range of intellectual property issues, including patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation, and often in international and highly regulated industries, such as biologic drugs, marine engineering, and software.
Jonathan received a J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where he served as a managing editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law.
Jonathan earned a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in Applied Science & Technology, where his research focused on the regulation of photoprotection in photosynthesis. His research has been published in several scientific journals, including Proceedings of the National Academy of Science. While a Ph.D. candidate, Jonathan served as president of the Graduate Assembly, the graduate student association.
Jonathan received a B.S. in Physics from the University of Minnesota.
