Jose Moncada is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s Boston office.

Jose represents clients in securities litigation and other types of complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts. He provides comprehensive legal services throughout various stages of litigation, including fact investigation, discovery, motions practice, legal research, trial preparation, and appeals.

After graduating from law school, Jose clerked for the Honorable Michael S. Kanne of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Honorable James R. Sweeney II of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, he was an associate in the litigation department of another leading global law firm.

Jose earned his J.D. cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Indiana Law Journal. Before attending law school, Jose served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army.
